Early in 2022 I was diagnosed to have stage four cancer with double hit lymphoma. The first I knew of it was when the tibia bones in both my legs fractured because of the cancer spreading through my body. It was a complete surprise, but because of my faith and trust in Jesus, by His grace and strength, I was able to face it with joy and peace, with the occasional hiccup!
In the whole of the New Testament there is not one time when someone came to Jesus for healing that he turned that person, or people, away. His response to faith, and those who believed in Him, was always to heal them. Jesus is the same today as He was then, and His Spirit, who lives in all who believe and trust in Him, is His Presence in us. So, why should being diagnosed with cancer be stressful? This is the story of how I found myself to be in the valley of the shadow of death and how I came through it and out of it, and how Jesus prepared a table for me in the wilderness. Now, over two years later, I am fit and healthy, and living a very full life.
I have written this book to encourage anyone who is facing serious illness, or their loved ones, that with Jesus there is always hope and the He is today still the Healer that heals.

Week Seventy is the final week in an extraordinary prophecy given to Daniel by the angel Gabriel. The angel, who stands in the presence of God, gave Daniel a vision of world history from the time that the Israelites, who had been exiled in Babylon, were given a decree by the Persian King Artaxerxes authorising them to return to Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple and the wallls of Jerusalem in 458 BC, right up to the time, still in the future, when the final Temple will be built in Jerusalem after the return of Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach.
The prophecy was for a period of seventy weeks of years, Four-hundred-and-ninety years in all. Sixty-nine of these weeks were competed when the Messiah came the first time, lived a perfect life, died, was buried and rose again and ascended back to the Father in great glory ad triumph. One week of seven years remains to be fulfilled by His Second Coming, that week, Week Seventy, is about to be fulfilled. Some credible Bible scholars believe that Week Seventy, also known as the Tribulation, began in October 2024, at Yom Teruah, the Feast of Trumpets.
"Week Seventy in Daniel" examines the writings of the prophet, which are foundational to our understanding of the Last Days, the transition period between the present age and the age to come, the millennial rule of Jesus, the final one-thousand years of human history, a time of peace, joy and order for the whole world.
The state of the world and global events in our time confirm that this final period of seven years has either already begun, or are about to begin very soon. This means that there is an urgent need for all believers in Jesus Christ to study the scriptures and come to an understanding of the tumultuous days in which we live. Jesus told us to be ready for His coming. "Week Seventy in Daniel" is the first in a series of studies of the Word of God which will provide a basis for understanding current events and is the first in a series of Bible Studies about the Last Days, the End Times, the Day of the Lord and the return of the Messiah.
The next book in the series is "Week Seventy in Revelation," both are essential reading to equip believers for the dark days ahead. Understanding and a deep commitment to Yeshua in these days will lead to great glory, the rewards are amazing, the loss from ignoring these prophecies will be devastating.

Shortly before His death, when Jesus was on the Mount of Olives with His disciples, thy asked Himwhatthe sign would be that 'this present age' was coming to an end. This present age was understood to be the period of time from the creation of Adam to the coming of the Messiah, the promised time for the redemption of Israel. Jesus then explained how his followers would know when that time would come.
Some years later Jesus appeared in His risen glory to the Apostle John, who had been with Him on the Mount of Olives, and was now exiled in a cave on the island of Patmos. Jesus gave him further details of the events to be expected in the period leading up to His return, to rid the world of Satan, and to establish Himself as King of Israel, and ruler of the world. This time, the Millennium, a thousand years of peace, order and happiness for the whole world, will be the start of the age to come.
The period between this current age and the age to come is known as 'the last days.' The climax of this turbulent time is a period of seven years, the Tribulation, 'Week Seventy,' the last week seventy weeks of years, a time that was shown to the Old Testament prophet Daniel by the angel Gabriel, and is dealt with in my book 'Week Seventy in Daniel.'
The major part of the Book of Revelation deals specifically with these seven years, the first nineteen chapters out of a total of twenty two. The visions and visitations received by the Apostle John fulfil many of the Old Testament prophecies in graphic detail, and they build on the information Jesus gave His disciples on the Mount of Olives.
The prophecies of the Old Testament, the teachings of Jesus and the Apostles in their New Testament letters, and the visions given to John, combine into a giant jigsaw puzzle, which, when completed, give an amazing, graphic and detailed picture of events that will shortly occur.
This book builds on 'Week Seventy in Daniel,' and takes the reader chapter by chapter through this fascinating and greatly neglected book. It is essential reading for all believers in these last days. We live in Biblical times, as important as the days of Joseph and Mary, Zechariah and Elizabeth, Simeon, Anna and the Magi.
The Book of Revelation takes us through this period year by year. In the letters to the Seven Churches, Jesus Himself tells us the dangers, the opportunities and the rewards that we are to watch out for each year of 'Week Seventy.' He personally breaks open seven seals on a scroll that holds the future of mankind, year by year for the seven years of 'Week Seventy.' He alone is able to open the future of the world, bringing salvation to millions and eternal punishment to all those who have rejected His salvation.
It is a book of wonder, devastating events, demonic creatures, dragons with many heads, beasts with horns, locusts emerging in thick smoke from the Abyss in the depth of the earth, a lewd prostitute seated on a scarlet beast. It records wars, bloodshed, and times of great deception and evil, earthquakes, famines and death on a massive scale. But there are also awesome descriptions of Heaven, the Father on His glorious throne, four living creatures, twenty four elders seated on thrones and myriads of angels. of Jesus riding out of Heaven with a mighty army.
My prayer is that by reading 'Week Seventy in Revelation' you will catch something of the wonder and majesty of this awesome book, and it will encourage you to search more deeply into the scriptures about the last days, and help you to be ready and prepared for what is about to envelope the whole world.
