ONE NEW MAN CONFERENCE
13th June 2026.
Purbeck, Dorset.
In 1998 "Be Not Silent" held a conference near Cranborne in Dorset to draw the attention of churches in the area to the significance of Israel to the Church in these Last Days. Speakers included Barry Segal, who led worship with Batya Segal, who wrote her much loved song "On Your Walls Oh Jerusalem" for the conference. The Messianic worship touched many hearts in a special way, and the band who came together for Cranborne play together to this day. Other speakers included Lance Lambert, Mahesh Chavda, Reuven Doron, David Damien and Al Casher. The conference was filmed by the then Christian Chanel Europe, and Rory and Wendy Alec contributed greatly by broadcasting the conference on what was to become GodTV.
Over two thousand people attended the event, and many were deeply touched with a revelation of God's love and purposes for His people Israel.
One New Man Conference
13 June 2026
Emmanuel Baptist Church, Swanage
10 am to 8 pm
As the Middle East is engulfed in full scale war, with Israel at the centre of the conflict, the effects are being felt in nations across the globe. Fuel costs are soaring, economies are being battered and there is much speculation that we may be on the verge of a third world war. In amongst the fear, the anger, the hatred and the turmoil, unseen and unreported, God is at work in amazing and powerful ways. In Israel itself the Gospel of Jesus Christ is being preached against a background of hatred and persecution, and many are coming to find in Jesus love, joy and hope for the future.
At the Be Not Silent “One New Man” conference on 13 June, we will hear first hand from Messianic Jewish and Arab pastors, who lead growing and Spirit filled congregations in Israel, that faith in Yeshua, Jesus, breaks down barriers of hatred and fear, and that He is the One who causes former enemies to join together in love and unity, as “the One New Man.”
The ticket price is £25
You are also invited to the pre-conference day of prayer, on the 12th June, for details click here.
Our Speakers
Israel Pochtar
Founder and Senior Pastor
Pastor Israel Pochtar has a deep passion for reaching Israelis with the Gospel, reconciliation between Jews and Arabs, and helping the poor and needy. He personally mentors emerging leaders in his congregation, empowering them to go forth, plant new congregations, and meet the practical needs of people. Barry Segal
Barry was raised in a Jewish American family, encountering the Messiah as a young musician living a colorful lifestyle in Detroit and Cleveland. He focused on praise and worship music, and led a fellowship while also pursuing a career in professional radio and TV production. In 1981, Barry made Aliyah from the USA, and moved to Jerusalem where he met Batya. They were married in Jerusalem in 1987. After Barry received a powerful vision that Israel would experience a time of plenty and then of anguish, similar to the Biblical tale of Joseph, he and Batya opened the Joseph Storehouse, a warehouse that supplied essential humanitarian aid to impoverished Israelis—both Jews and Arabs. Vision for Israel was registered as a non-profit organization in Israel in 1994.
Reuven Doron
Reuven Doron, a native ex-military Israeli disciple of Jesus the Messiah, has been serving the Lord as a pastor, Bible teacher and a marketplace professional for four decades.
Following a powerful conversion experience in 1978 in the USA, Reuven was filled with the Holy Spirit and called to serve the Lord at the forefront of the emerging Messianic Body in the land of Israel, helping rebuild the foundations of a national Messianic movement which lay dormant for 2,000 years.
Together with his wife, Mary Lou, Reuven continued to minister and teach internationally while pastoring in Israel and the USA, emphasizing the biblical message of the “ONE NEW MAN” (Eph. 2:14-15), calling Jew and Gentile into One Body through One Spirit in the Messiah. Reuven is serving with the leadership team of SAR-EL Group, helping Christians worldwide develop a biblical vision of Israel, gain Hebraic perspectives of God’s Kingdom, and lead journeys of faith, prayer and worship to the Holy land.
