Early in 2022 I was diagnosed to have stage four cancer with double hit lymphoma. The first I knew of it was when the tibia bones in both my legs fractured because of the cancer spreading through my body. It was a complete surprise, but because of my faith and trust in Jesus, by His grace and strength, I was able to face it with joy and peace, with the occasional hiccup!
In the whole of the New Testament there is not one time when someone came to Jesus for healing that he turned that person, or people, away. His response to faith, and those who believed in Him, was always to heal them. Jesus is the same today as He was then, and His Spirit, who lives in all who believe and trust in Him, is His Presence in us. So, why should being diagnosed with cancer be stressful? This is the story of how I found myself to be in the valley of the shadow of death and how I came through it and out of it, and how Jesus prepared a table for me in the wilderness. Now, over two years later, I am fit and healthy, and living a very full life.
I have written this book to encourage anyone who is facing serious illness, or their loved ones, that with Jesus there is always hope and the He is today still the Healer that heals.
