Week Seventy is the final week in an extraordinary prophecy given to Daniel by the angel Gabriel. The angel, who stands in the presence of God, gave Daniel a vision of world history from the time that the Israelites, who had been exiled in Babylon, were given a decree by the Persian King Artaxerxes authorising them to return to Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple and the wallls of Jerusalem in 458 BC, right up to the time, still in the future, when the final Temple will be built in Jerusalem after the return of Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach.
The prophecy was for a period of seventy weeks of years, Four-hundred-and-ninety years in all. Sixty-nine of these weeks were competed when the Messiah came the first time, lived a perfect life, died, was buried and rose again and ascended back to the Father in great glory ad triumph. One week of seven years remains to be fulfilled by His Second Coming, that week, Week Seventy, is about to be fulfilled. Some credible Bible scholars believe that Week Seventy, also known as the Tribulation, began in October 2024, at Yom Teruah, the Feast of Trumpets.
"Week Seventy in Daniel" examines the writings of the prophet, which are foundational to our understanding of the Last Days, the transition period between the present age and the age to come, the millennial rule of Jesus, the final one-thousand years of human history, a time of peace, joy and order for the whole world.
